Overview of Quality Control Flow

This section will guide you through the process of managing quality control for your orders and overall workflow for quality control.

The flow is as follows:

• After order creation and after the initial upload of finished content
  • Order gets marked with status of “Quality Control”
• Once its marked as “Quality Control”, the order will need to be assigned to a user with Quality Control role.
• Once assigned, the qc user will view the finished content, and go through the check list for each service.
  • If the initial completed files are meeting the requirements, the qc user can approve the existing content.
    • This can be found under the editor section of the order, called “qc approval”.
    • 
  • If there are issues with the initial completed files, the qc user can either download the content both completed and source to make the adjustments themselves, or send back to initial editor for adjustments.
    • If the content is needing to be changed, to mark the quality control as completed, the new adjusted files will need to be uploaded back to the order and have the adjustment approval toggle checked. Once after upload and zipping of contnet, the order will be marked as completed and the client notified.

Who Has Access?

Firstly whom can access “Quality Control” section?

• Editor Business Owner - Editor Business Owner can access everything regarding their business.
• Editor Team Member Managing Other Users - A user that has been made a managing user by the editor business owner, can access quality control and quality control orders for users they have been assigned management too.

If you dont have any of the above, you’ll get an error page saying you dont have access to this section:

Who Should Have Access?

Make sure you are only allowing people you trust with the skill set for quality control, generally the team leaders/managers.
