Editor Service Approval | Job Applications

“Editor Service Approval” we also refer to this as “Job Applications”. They are the same thing, just so you know.

Job Applications is the system Image Edits uses to approve specific team members for specific services, it has been mandatory for us to manage much larger teams and making sure we have correct team members doing the tasks they are specific trained and approved for.

This is a quick overview of how “Job Applications” system works.

Editing Business Approval

Starting with Editing Business, editing businesses themselves need to be approved by Image Edits for specific services. This is done by the business owner, and only the business owner can do this. You’ll create a ‘job application’ for specific service and the rate for service (majority of you will be internal Image Edits Team, this is just for a tracking of labor costs expected). Once requested, Image Edits will review. Either Image Edits will approve the request, or reject the request.

If the ‘job application’ for that service is approved. It means you can now start to setup your team members for that service.

Team Member Job Application Approval

Now going to editor team member job applications, this is where you apply for a service for a specific team member, they will only be able to create job applications for services that are already approved on the editing business by Image Edits. If its not approved, you wont be able to see/create job application for that service.

Once job application for the Team member has been created, editing business owner or Image Edits can approve this application. This is useful when team is handling similar services, example photo editing, might have a few different types of photo editing styles/services, and have specific team members that can only do specific style/service.
